Casual Crisis
There has been a lot happening in the world of Nathan Parent! Two weeks ago, I opened for two fantastic, Minneapolis based groups in Washburn, Wi at Stage North! I was accompanied by my two good friends Eric Doane and Wilson Holzhaeuser and we put on a smashing show! The video evidence is here: http://www.youtube.com/homey33 After we were done, we were followed by Chris Koza Band (http://www.myspace.com/chriskozaband) and Sick of Sarah (http://www.myspace.com/sickofsarah) and we were all blown away! Each group put on a fantastic show and I am proud to be able to say that I opened for them! :)
The week before that show, I was able to pen a new song titled "Casual Crisis" and it's shaping up to be a pretty cool song. Eric, Wilson, and I performed that one for the first time live on the 5th and I put the video on my youtube account. So, feel free to check it out. I hope to lay it down in the studio soon!
As for my recordings, I have nine songs now that I have mastered and ready for sale! All I have to do is send them into CDbaby and they will be up for digital download! :) Be prepared for that within the next few months. They will be on what I am now calling the "In the Shade of Doubt EP!" :D I'm excited to share this all with you and you can listen to a few of the songs on my Myspace. Other than that stuff, I have been working a lot and booking gigs. I should have more to say next time.
Take care and enjoy the world!
Nate
